Subscription rates for members in India have been set in Rupees to reflect the local economic circumstances.

Fellow | 5,140 Rupees |
Members and Fellows qualified and registered as CEng, IEng | 5,140 Rupees |
Members and Fellows qualified and registered as EngTech | 4,540 Rupees |
Students and apprentices¹ | 1,000 Rupees |
¹New graduates and newly qualified apprentices, who were previously student members, will be invoiced at a concession rate of 1,000 Rupees for one year.
Reduced subscriptions
Reductions are available in certain circumstances, as listed below.
50-year membership
Members who achieve 50 years of membership in the 2009/10 subscription period are eligible for a 50% discount off the local subscription rate. This discount is automatically applied to your subscription and there is no need to apply.
Students / apprentices
Apprentices, all undergraduates and full-time postgraduate students studying to satisfy the Institution’s membership requirements will automatically be billed at a reduced rate of 1,000 Rupees.
Engineering Council (UK) members
Members who pay a reduced subscription and are registered with the Engineering Council (UK) also qualify for a reduced EC (UK) fee as follows:

All claims for reductions or refunds must be made within two months of your membership subscription due date.

Please ensure cheques are crossed payable at PAR in favour of "The Institution of Engineering and Technology". Outstation cheques / cash / money orders cannot be accepted.
Bank drafts should be made payable to ‘The Institution of Engineering and Technology’.
If you are renewing your membership please ensure you send the payment page of your renewal notice with your payment.
