Overview

If you hold a City and Guilds certificate from 2001-2007 please see 17th Edition one day workshop and exam (2382-20) details. For all other experienced electricians and electrical contractors, this is the one for you.

This is a multiple-choice test of 60 questions with a maximum of two hours allowed. The test is computer based; you will receive a printed result on completion of the test.

Test procedure

In order to familiarise yourself with the new test procedure, you have the opportunity to sit a ten minute navigational test beforehand.

Please be aware that you will require a copy of BS 7671:2008 (red cover) for this course and City and Guilds 2382 exam. Its full price is £65 but once you have booked on a course with the IET you are entitled to a 20 per cent discount taking the price to £52.
