One day course
Since its launch in early 1990, the IET's one day short course has enabled many thousands to understand their responsibilities. Course documentation includes a copy of the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) Memorandum of Guidance.
The course is aimed primarily at engineers and supervisory staff with responsibility for electrical systems.

- Dangers of electricity;
- Training, experience, competence & supervision;
- Safe systems of work;
- Safe systems - design & installation;
- Safe systems - working space, access & lighting;
