To be eligible to take this exam candidates must hold a City and Guilds 2381 certificate from 2001-2007. As part of the booking process delegates will be asked to submit a copy of their certificate and their candidate enrolment number. This can be found at the bottom of the certificate and is in alpha-numeric form i.e. ABCD123.

City and Guilds 2382-20 is a multiple-choice test of 30 questions with a maximum of one hour allowed. The test is computer based; you will receive a printed result on completion of the test. In order to familiarise yourself with the new test procedure, you have the opportunity to sit a ten minute navigational test beforehand.

Please be aware that you will require a copy of BS 7671:2008 (red cover) for this course and City and Guilds 2382 exam. Its full price is £65 but once you have booked on a course with the IET you are entitled to a 20% discount taking the price to £52.
