This course is aimed at managers and administrators of both work places and of companies providing maintenance and testing services. The course does not include any practical testing for participants but does have a practical demonstration by the lecturers.
Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment C+G 2377-200
This course, commonly known as Portable Appliance/PAT Testing, is for staff undertaking and recording inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The course includes a practical exercise.
Testing of Electrical Installations
This one-day short course is an introduction to testing to BS 7671 : 2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations (IEE Wiring Regulations Seventeenth Edition) and is particularly suitable for those who lack practical experience or require a refresher.
Revision Day
Those preparing for the City and Guilds 2391-10 written examination may wish to attend a revision day.
Electrical Maintenance
This course is aimed at management and supervisory staff taking on responsibilities for the maintenance of electrical systems, installations, plant and equipment.
City and Guilds 2391-10: Level 3
This scheme is aimed at those with practical experience of inspection and testing of low voltage (LV) electrical installations.
City and Guilds 2392-10: Level 2
The purpose of this course is to give participants the outline experience necessary for the practical inspecting and testing of newly installed electrical circuits and also as theoretical preparation for candidates aiming to achieve City and Guilds 2392-10 (NVQ Level 2).
